Links is a text mode WWW browser, similar to Lynx. It displays tables, frames, downloads on background, uses HTTP/1.1 keepalive connections.

This version is compiled without graphics mode. See the package links2 for a version with graphics support compiled in.

Simple, easy to use for novice users. The only thing missing is the mouse scrolling support. I hope they add it.

My last review was a bit long winded. This is the most stable, useful and pratical text-only browser. If you do a lot of work in the terminal this package is a must!
