mplayer
Another big feature of MPlayer is the wide range of supported output drivers. It works with X11, Xv, DGA, OpenGL, SVGAlib, fbdev, but also SDL.
Not all of the upstream code is distributed in the source tarball. See the README.Debian and copyright files for details.

it works but it seems stuttery and sluggish responsively. i used to use mplayer2 which seemed much snappier. but its gone now, i switched to mpv instead of mplayer now

You need this instalation if you use Anki. Potrzebujesz tego programu, gdy korzystasz z Anki.

I love it !! and use it in combination with Smplayer. I have set mplayer to open all video types by default

Love it, works for me, set up lotsa custom shortcuts, the audio equalizer and effects help a lot. :)
