This browser is everything that firefox should aspire to be. Lots of granular control over settings is offered to the user in a clean easy to understand interface. I've been using this browser for about 8 months now and had no issues.
Honestly, it was my favorite browser but I always took off the side control panel. For some reason ever time I download it the side panel seems to be static. And if I select a side panel one will just appear over it or on the other side of the screen. I will go back to it if they can fix that; it is driving me nuts.
Floorp is great, it's like firefox but just.. better. Sure, it's a bit heavier but it brings enough value to make it worth using. Since the manifest V2 debacle, I will ALWAYS suggest Floorp.
I like floorp a lot, coming from Firefox after years of usage as a casual user.
If you are switching from Firefox, this is the perfect choice. One of the best Firefox forks.
It's a good browser, easily customizable, doesn't have a title bar so depending on your screen size your getting an extra inch or so of usable space compared to firefox.
Just registered here to say how did Floorp became my favorite browser that literally saved from thousands of problems. The reason I give it 4 stars is because in Root Directory (at about:profiles) the profile doesn't open, since the path doesn't doesn't exist. And I wanted to add Betterfox user.js..........and also it's not that fast as I want it to be. Sometimes it even doesn't recognizes that I have an Internet connection. Mainly the browser is good and I can recommend it :-) It's way much better then any else browser I had ever tried. For context, I am using Mint 22.1, Xia, Cinnamon edition :-) Floorp is even better then Zen Browser, to be honest! Kinda feels like Vivaldi :-) Better then Opera.
