How good is flameshot? Partner, I went through the entire linux forum registration process while stoned just to write this review. That's how amazing Flameshot is. I've used this as my go to screenshot tool for the past year and nothing can compete with it it terms of features and easy of use. This screenshot tool is like having a Nerfed version of gimp that was made dead simple and just makes sense to use. I make efforts to donate to projects that I really care about annually and this year flame shot is getting my money. I have gotten so much use out of this simple tool.
If you're looking for a Gyazo alternative, keep moving. This does not upload to a web page in order to share the screenshot.
I'm really sorry, but I'm used to better. The tool is really very cumbersome to use if you're familiar with Screenpresso. Admittedly, Screenpresso is a screenshot tool that runs on Windows, but it's by far the best, and that's what Flameshot has to measure up to. https://www.screenpresso.com

I wish this app was standard in all Linux distros. Superior to almost every screenshot tool out there. I love Mint's default tool for screengrabs, but Flameshot provides so much more functionality and is faster to use.. Image if they decided to capture screen recordings? Would easily replace Peek in that department, if the quality of this app is anything to go by.
I love it! Works better than Lightshot that I used to use on Windows. If you're installing via the Software Manager and you choose Flatpak(Flathub), you'll need to use "/usr/bin/flatpak run --branch=stable --arch=x86_64 org.flameshot.Flameshot gui" for the command when you are binding it to the Print Screen key
Works as intended. I would like to see a feature in the future where I can snip and copy part of the screen without having to press ctrl+c just like in Windows 10.
Good app. That's what I need. You can immediately call the selection of the area and save it in JPG format.
The best app I've used to take screenshots, it's amazing! It offers a wide range of features and lets you edit a screenshot within the app itself. I am very impressed and would like to congratulate the developers for their excellent work.
Shortcut keys don't work very well for me as I'm using a macbook. This app solves that problem and is also the best screen capture app I've ever seen on any operating system.
