I don't understand why this has below 4 stars. Works fine on Linux Mint 21.1

Sadly this great tool don't work in LM Cinnamon, the app can't minimize in toolbar or use shortcut from keyboard.

This is the closest thing to Snagit that I can find for linux. LarryN46 said, "Couldn't get hot keys to work. Couldn't take a screenshot of dropdown menu. No delay-screenshot option." and he is wrong about all of them. You can set a delay and with the delay set you can open a context menu that will show up in the screenshot. The global hotkeys are available in the editor under "Options | Settings | Hotkeys". By default it's ctrl_shift_r for the rectangle. The downside is that the hotkey won't work unless KSnip is active, which is a bit if a drag and does need to be fixed. KSnip should have CLI that I can use to set up a keyboard hotkey chord so that I can launch and take a screenshot without having to worry about the running status of it.

It's working really fine BUT I don't like the white theme so I uninstalled it.

I'm actually surprised it doesn't have any reviews. This is exactly what I needed, easy to use, basic edit options. A great replacement for Greenshot.
