Remmina is a remote-desktop client written in GTK, to use other desktops remotely, from a tiny screen or large monitors.
Remmina supports multiple network protocols in an integrated and consistent user interface. The protocols currently supported are: X2Go, RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol), VNC (Virtual Network Computing), and SSH (Secure Shell / Open SSH).
External plugins are also supported to add new protocols and features.
For me it works even greater than Windows native app for RDS. keep up great work!
Wanted to connect to a Debian machine which had installed xRPD. Downloaded Remmina, created new connection with IP/Port, clicked connect. Done. Works. Perfect!
The flatpak version i installed worked out of the box. The normal version, for some reason didnt work with profiles. I could log in remotely if i manually entered the IP, but using the same info in a profile, it would just close when connecting. I dont usually install flatpaks, but ill be doing more of them in future.
Perfect! Remmina is not only useful to admins but also to users who have to connect to terminal servers/remote desktops for regular, daily work. Having 5 yrs. of experience with Remmina in production use, it is definitely my first choice for VNC and RDP (Windows 10, also xrdp) setups.
Excellent for keeping track of remote connections. Remote Desktop is super nice with this program. I use this daily - best I have found so far.
