de.haeckerfelix.Shortwave "Wonderful app that brings tons of radio stations and ability to record. Please just add ability to custom sort favorites." |

hypnotix "I defintly want something like what this app provides. HOWEVER. This app does not work. Almost none of the stations load." |

gparted "Great value utlity that gives both a good view of whats happening on each drive, and the tools needed to edit them." |

drawing "How can software with so few features still be so difficult and unintuitive to use. Cropping is one of the few things I ask a image editor to do and I have no clue what it was trying to do." |

io.github.thetumultuousunicornofdarkness.cpu-x "Gets a lot of the info, including most of what I was looking for (temps and power draw). I wish the interface of tabs was more customizeable but the static pages in themselves are nice. Flatpack was the more up to date version when I downloaded it compared to the system package." |

org.freefilesync.FreeFileSync "It's filled in the gap for me on GUI sync utilties that I use in conjunction with the rsync. I have no clue what version this one is though and it doesn't match the flatpack or one in the software center. I got it from the FreeFileSync website." |

org.remmina.Remmina "Did what other VNC clients couldn't (SSH)! Flatpack version was more up to date than the system package when I downloaded it." |

io.github.Qalculate "Great calculator that includes units and history and everything. This flatpack was more up to date than the system package when I downloaded it." |
5 |
md.obsidian.Obsidian "Really great note taking, MathJax (LaTeX) note taking and flowcharting app." |
5 |
steam-installer "Without Steam most of us would find Linux too difficult (custom wine setups) to be workable in daily use. Proton and the ease of setup are huge steps forward in making Linux capable of easily running most games (and other Windows apps!)" |
5 |
filezilla "I've used Filezilla for many years but my experience with WinSCP (Win) and Transmit (OS X) were much better for sync features. Filezilla has been around forever and says it's featured filled, but I don't see it. I just use Nemo (the file browser) now unless something good comes around." |
2 |
celluloid "Works with videos even VLC doesn't out of the box but doesn't have nearly the same level of feature set." |
4 |
vlc "Historically my favorite media player, but in LM 22 some videos like AOM AV1 don't work when they work fine in celluloid. There my be a fix, but even if so, this is suboptimal compared to out of the box celluloid." |
3 |
flameshot "Easy to use and integrates well. I set up the shortcuts in the Mint Keyboard shortcuts menu for maximum consistency and flexibility. Easier to understand than ShareX was on Win, though technically a bit less featured. It was so intuitive I ended up with more feature power in practice. Now I don't need to drop into paint or a paint app for edits and just do it on the fly." |
