QupZilla is a new and very fast QtWebKit browser. It aims to be a lightweight web browser available through all major platforms. This project has been originally started only for educational purposes. But from its start, QupZilla has grown into a feature-rich browser.

QupZilla has all standard functions you expect from a web browser. It includes bookmarks, history (both also in sidebar) and tabs. Above that, you can manage RSS feeds with an included RSS reader, block ads with a builtin AdBlock plugin, block Flash content with Click2Flash and edit the local CA Certificates database with an SSL Manager.

QupZilla's main aim is to be a very fast and very stable QtWebKit browser available to everyone.

March 2018 - light & fast.on my old tank of a machine. way faster than firefox. Would be nice if they upgraded to a version 2 or falkon (Version 3) . The V1.8.9 currently on repo is really kind of stale as it was released Nov 11, 2015

Rapide et léger. Une excellent alternative à Firefox qui est devenu trèsq gourmand en ressources

I use this solely for playing flash games, and it works great. No lag whatsoever. My firefox install is bogged down with tons of add-ons, so it lags awful when playing flash games.

i had to drop opera 12.x, this was the replacement. i love this browser the lightest and most pleasant to use, built in fetures like single key shortcuts, speedial, and the ability to install grease monkey scripts

Great browser for old hardware. Very fast and much more stable than Midori.

Great. I was looking for a lighter weight browser to replace Firefox. Midori crashes all the time, Qupzilla is stable and works a little better than Midori. Excellent features that are too many to list. I think that I found what I was looking for.

Un explorador sencillo, rápido y que consume pocos recursos, con muchas posibilidades. Espero que se incremente el número de complementos y que se eliminen los fallos

Nice, simple browser. Tabs not very configurable. Import bookmarks stops at 99%.

Really light! It works good but sometimes has minor problems with flash videos and occasionally crashes. Great for old computers and as the main (but not the only) web browser.

A good but not great browser. The best option for systems with less than 1GB memory.

Very fast (compared to Firefox). Quite good. Still in its infancy (ex.: few add-ons, few options missing, limied bookmarks organizer etc.), yet few other option are integrated as standard (instead of as add-on) and development is very active. This is now my main browser and only use Firefox as a backup. All other are far too slow compared to this.
