Modular and intuitive GTK+-based CD-ripper
  2 reviews

RipOff is a GTK+ based CD Ripper for Linux that sports a simple interface, CDDB lookups, and a plugin-based encoder architecture.

This version doesn't have MP3 support compiled in, you'll need to install the ripoff-mp3-plugin package to rip into mp3.

This package contains the ripoff executable.

Brilliant. All features seem to work excellently here on Mint 13. Tracks are ripped well, and the program downloads music info too.

This tool just crashed for me in the middle of ripping. It doesn't seem to be in development any more, as this version is 3 years old.
