sct
sct sets the color temperature of the screen via xrandr like redshift. Unlike redshift, it is only 80 lines of C and will not change the screen temperature automatically.

Open terminal, type sct and a number between 1000 and 10000. Misses basic keywords in this search here and therefor hard to find.

Love this. Works with vpn. Screenshots gets normal colours, not the night colours. Easy.

Simply works and does what it is supposed to do. Was glad to find it after an hour of trying to make other utilities work.
