I liked it a lot. The Linux fork is Nightingale. Amazed itś not on the Software Manager
Dead project... No longer supported by developers and any plug-ins that this program is supposed to pick up points to a dead link URL. Project forked to Nightingale (same layout, more options).
I am using Songbird on Mint Debian, but on all my computers, Songbird can't connect to the internet. Its a pity and don't know how to solve this.
It lacks of codecs in need to run my media which other players could do. Interface is very good. Need update!
A great media player, but I have it for listening to internet radio stream from around the world. But it does so more than stream. Install it and try it out...I personally listen to Brazillian radio while I work on my pc. I use it on my LinuxMint 15 and Windows 7 machine...so its also cross platform.
WAS a great option before they remove Linux support. Nightingale is the forked linux supported version!
Really nice player with a gorgeous support for plugins. really similar to winamp ;). unfortunately its a bit heavy and podcasts are missing :(!
