Terminator is a little project to produce an efficient way of filling a large area of screen space with terminals.

The user can have multiple terminals in one window and use key bindings to switch between them. See the manpage for details.

I found this by accident in mint's software manager: it's a great desktop application. You can fit as many terminals in a window as you like, and if you pull up two instances of terminator, they automatically align so that they aren't blocking each other. You only have to remember 4 keyboard shortcuts (split horizontal, split vertical, switch termal, close window), which is a huge plus, because not remembering things is frustrating. However, there are a rather large number of keyboard shortcuts and ways to change your settings in "preferences". Great software! Keep it up.

The best Terminal App i have tested - only one Terminal and you can do work on all servers at the same time :D I love the Idea!

Could be great, but needs a manual, even just a quick start guide. I don't have time for one more guessing game.

Tilix provides a much more elegant way of filling a large area of screen space with terminals.

Kinda nice, but Not really useful if you have enough screen real estate.

Awesome! Especially the ability to save layouts and have a different command run in each shell makes me so much more productive. Best Terminal.
