Description:

This is a simple utility designed to make startup disks from ubuntu cds.

this package is a transitional package, to allow moving from usb-creator to usb-creator-gtk, now that we have more than one frontend. this package can safely be removed after upgrade.

3 Luckily in Mint 15 there is no need for it. Simply right click on the ISO file and select Make bootable USB stick

4 Very good tool! But I need a Unetbootin to put Linuxmint-Debian iso on a flash drive. Will use both USB-creator and Unetbootin in the future.

5 Spot on idea, when installing your os from a usb stick its nice and quick,also the added benefit of being able to show your friends how great linux is on there own PC without actually having to install to a HDD

3 http://liveusb.info is as simple and allows several iso on the same partition / http://liveusb.info est aussi simple et permet la cohabitation de plusieurs iso sur la même partition.
