This is a simple utility designed to make startup disks from ubuntu cds.

this package is a transitional package, to allow moving from usb-creator to usb-creator-gtk, now that we have more than one frontend. this package can safely be removed after upgrade.

Luckily in Mint 15 there is no need for it. Simply right click on the ISO file and select Make bootable USB stick

Will create the Fat32 partition but should align to sector 2048 (1MB) not sectior 62

Works great for like distros (Mint, Debian, Ubuntu) but doesn't work with Fedora and others.

Awesome, works all the time (don't forget to run with superuser priviliges). Great for live USBs

It does wath it suppose to do, very handy tool when you want to install Linux on a netbook.

Very good tool! But I need a Unetbootin to put Linuxmint-Debian iso on a flash drive. Will use both USB-creator and Unetbootin in the future.

Works great for putting the Mint LiveDVD on a flash drive.

It works only with Ubuntu. Unetbootin is better I think.
