This plugin adds support for pulseaudio to the vlc media player. to activate the audio output module, use the `--aout pulse' flag or select the `pulse' audio output plugin from the preferences menu.

vlc is the videolan project's media player. it plays mpeg, mpeg-2, mpeg-4, divx, mov, wmv, quicktime, webm, flac, mp3, ogg/vorbis files, dvds, vcds, podcasts, and multimedia streams from various network sources.

I don't need this package. VLC works fine (well it works) without it (i.e. through the older ALSA system). Better keep things simple: Neither VLC nor pulseaudio is all too stable, so best keep them separated. Maybe (hopefully) both will mature soon, so we can get rid of ALSA; but as it is, VLC doesn't actually *need* the extra low latency of pulseaudio.

Me sirvió para corregir el audio del VLC que antes si pausaba o adelantaba la reproducción el sonido se perdía. Ya no mas! Recomendado.
