This thumbnailer has never worked for me, even back when I was still using GIMP 2.0. It never works. Nemo just shows with an icon that it's trying to generate a thumbnail for a few seconds, then quietly fails—and worse: It slows down thumbnail generation for other files in that folder as well. If it works for you, great, but otherwise I'd recommend uninstalling so it doesn't slow down thumbnail gen.
