"This is a great launcher for vanilla, as others have pointed out, but also great for making modpacks with mods from both Curseforge and Modrinth, and downloading modpacks from ATLauncher's own repository, Curseforge, Modrinth, and Technic. The launcher itself has a nice aesthetic with plenty of themes (I use Dracula Contrast). It's very easy to download mods and modpacks from all available sources, and if you're trying to search for a mod from Modrinth, but it's only available on Curseforge, you can just switch to Curseforge with the same search. It also keeps a live log open the entire time, so if something goes wrong, you'll know when it happened (Not necessarily why, but that's just because Minecraft error messages are cryptic sometimes). The reason it's a four instead of five is just that, unlike Prism, you can't download modpacks from FTB. That's it. That's the only downside. Thanks for reading my paragraph. Have a nice day"

"I was trying to figure out whether I prefer this or ATLauncher. First, I tried ATLauncher, and I really liked it. This has one feature that makes it better, and that's the fact you can download modpacks from FTB. Other than that, Prism just isn't as easy or fun to use. ATlauncher automatically sorts out Java versions for you, Prism does not. Two people mentioned cats, but there was not nearly as much customization on that front as I had expected from ikaika's review. If ATLauncher doesn't work on your system for whatever reason, and this does, then it's good enough for most things. It gets the job done. Maybe none of this matters to you though, so maybe just try both and see what you like. For me, I'll stick with ATLauncher"
