I was an avid windows user, until i was referred to Linux Mint by a fellow student in my MCSE training class. I absolutely fell in love with it. I started with Mint 10 beta. I am now running Mint 11 RC2 and have never been more satisfied with an operating system. Very easy to use and in my opinion any windows user will have no problem adjusting to this system. I have already switched over all of my PC's and am currently speaking its praises to my immediate familly and friends. Its amazing how strong of a grip Bill has on these people. Having said that I watched a you tube video on Windows 8 today. I almost crapped myself when i found that windows 8 is nothing more than Mint with pretty effects. It blew me away. A software manager or "app manager," an identical disk usage analizer, Muli-desktop platform, and open source coding have all been added to the "new" windows 8. Or Windows Mint 8 as I call it.

Now running 12. Not sure how i feel about it yet. Seems a little crowded with extras.
