| mplayer-gui "Stop complaining about subtiltles, guys. I totally figured it out man. You just have to change your subtitles name to exactly as same as your videos name. Like your videos names is Pirates of Torrent Valley DVDrip.avi and your subtitles text names shoud be Pirates of Torrent Valley DVDrip.srt, and gnome mplayer should load subtitles just fine.
