Technogeek whose vocation used to be enterprise computing, and as far away from Linux as one can imagine.
[Semi-] Retired, I occasionally take sort-term contracts working on IBM i systems, usually fixing the tattered remains of what hiring under-experienced analysts caused.
Otherwise I work full-time on my avocation -- Linux -- or donate my time to worthy causes.

unetbootin "Straightforward, just about as flexible as one can expect, and offers some [nearly] hidden gems like the "frugal install!" Not just awesome, but crazy awesome. I wouldn't leave home without it. Truly! ... did you know it's a part of the Portable App suite? Try it." |

bleachbit "The only reason I am not giving this a 5 rating is because of some odd system behavior after a few uses. Since I was making a number of changes on the system at that time -- hence the actual need for cleanup -- it very well could have been one or more of the other changes I made causing the erratic behaviors. Still, I wouldn't be without it! A "5" is still within reach." |
