[Semi-] Retired, I occasionally take sort-term contracts working on IBM i systems, usually fixing the tattered remains of what hiring under-experienced analysts caused.
Otherwise I work full-time on my avocation -- Linux -- or donate my time to worthy causes.

Since I was making a number of changes on the system at that time -- hence the actual need for cleanup -- it very well could have been one or more of the other changes I made causing the erratic behaviors.
