| banshee "I thought I could like it, but I don't. Not since my last install anyway. For the time span it has been in development it is too buggy and has too little features while it seems to have less and less with every new release. Only a basic player with somewhat extended abilities, which is a shame, because it could rival the larger packages out there. Worst is that it crashes very often. Bad audio quality. Sometimes jumps to the next song unexpectedly or stutters in playback. Automatic playlists don't work well at times. I wish people would take this whole linux business a bit more serious instead of viewing it as finger training exercise like so many of these projects out there that never make it past "0.7b" or the like. Look at windows freeware, or OS-X. You might learn something. Looks like this project is geared to only cosmetic changes. Nope, not for me." |
