bum "This is a dangerous tool in the hands of a newbie. The descriptions could be more polished (some are sentence case, others are not), settings are not saved, and I'm not sure what the icons to the right represent exactly (tooltips or a legend would be nice)." |

parcellite "Migrating from Windows, this is the closest Linux equivalent to ClipX. I use it every day; for me it's definitely on the "can't live without" shelf." |

vim "You either love it or you hate it -- I happen to love it! There's a steep learning curve (this shouldn't scare you since you're already using Linux), but once you get the hang of things navigating and editing in Vim is super efficient compared to other editors. Once you become a Vim master, people will see your fingers flying off the keyboard and will get the impression that you're performing some kind of voodoo. I swear the experience can become almost magical." |
