| gimp "Åbning af "/media/mint/Windows/kalender/WF_Planner_31_days.eps" mislykkedes: Could not interpret Postscript file '/media/mint/Windows/kalender/WF_Planner_31_days.eps' is the message I get when trying to open a file from Illustrator in either .ai or .eps format in LinuxMint. The Gimp is 2.8.6 and my laptop a 64-bit Sony Vaio VGN-AW41HQ. In Windows Gimp opens the files correct. Funny that here in LinuxMint Inkscape open the same files correct but in Windows the files get the error message that ps2pdf interpreter is not present. Ghostscript 64-bit is installed. I hoped to get Scribus, Inkscape and Gimp to work in the same boot partition so I do not have to reboot too often. The potential of Linux is unfortunately not gettng as many users as possible, partly due to the fact that it is a pain to get a dual boot to function without a lot of work. Just trying Mint out, several years ago I tried Suse and Mandriva, things were easier then." |
