Just another geek that enjoys using Linux.  I have been involved with maintaining Linux systems since 2001, but I have been a computer geek my whole life (started with my Vic-20).  I enjoy bash and Perl scripting, and working with hardware.

My title is Senior Learning Specialist at IBM; however, most of my day is maintaining a small internal data center.  I support RedHat, Suse, CentOS, as well as AIX and Windows.  We are heavy virtualized with PowerVM, and VMWare.  I manage AIX and Linux on Power as well as Intel based systems. 

I passed my LPIC-1 certification earlier this year, and plan to progress through the other levels soon.  Most of my focus has been with RedHat/Fedora distros, but seeing LinuxMint's clean interface, drew me in.  I now have it running on my primary personal Laptop.  So far I'm enjoying it.
