Very practical program for back-up. Several back-up schema's, incremental back-up.
This is the best backup tool I have found for Linux. It does incremental backups so it is fast. The best thing is that the backups can be viewed with just a file browser (including older snapshots) so when disaster strikes, there is no complicated installation and configuration required to access the backups on another computer / the repaired computer
Excellent. Easy, clear, and the option to make the snapshots automatically is great.
Best client based backup I've tried for linux. Efficient storage using hardlinks. Quick backups using diffs. Easy to schedule. Smart deletion of old backups. Everything you could ask for in a client side backup tool.
This is so easy to use that there is no excuse for not taking backups. It doesn't compress the backups but I like that as I can navigate the directory structure if I wish. It uses hard links to present a full directory structure in every backup while only actually copying any changed files. Take a backup every hour. You're worth it!
Very good! Has many good features including smart automatic deletion of old backups (which most other tools lack) and is easy to use!
Snapshots are a good idea and it works just fine. But backintime is too simple and create too many folders. Not my taste...
