PeaZip is a free, Open Source (LGPLv3) archive manager utility for BSD, Linux,
macOS and Windows.

Cross-platform, desktop-agnostic GUI archive manager based on Open Source technologies
of 7-Zip / p7zip, Zstandard, Brotli, ZPAQ, PEA, and other Free Software file compression
tools, alternative to 7-Zip, Engrampa, FileRoller, Keka, WinRar, WinZip and similar apps.

Create, convert, open and extract 7Z, Brotli, BZip2, GZip, PEA, RAR, TAR, XZ, ZIP,
ZPAQ, Zstd files, and many more (200+) archive formats.

The integrated file manager provides bookmarking, tabbed browsing, search, instant content
filter, duplicate files detection, and text, hex, and image viewers.

PeaZip supports encryption / decryption of archives, with optional two factor authentication,
and its scripting engine makes easy to export the tasks defined in the GUI as CLI scripts.

Me encanta, no puedo entender como no viene por defecto con linux mint. Baje todo lo que encontre buscando 7zip o rar en el gestor de software y nada funcionaba, hasta que me cruce con un comentario random que menciono esta app.

I like it, and I use it quite a lot. But the themeing (as mentioned) is a bit off and at times it messes with the whole drag-and-drop, after dragging into Peazip and then on Linux Mint (not related to Peazip) when I go to move files it won’t drag-and-drop. You'd have to open and close Peazip for it to work again system-wise, it’s very strange. And it does the same on Ubuntu. But overall it’s wonderful!

Does what it says on the tin, but the themeing system is atrocious.

es buenisimo, me encanta, aun que en lo personal lo prefiero usar en formato ".app imagen" porque es portable. (It's great, I love it, although personally I prefer to use it in ".app image" format because it's portable.)

No idea why this doesn''t have hundreds of reviews.... brilliant archive un-/packer that doubles as a file manager with image manipulation abilities and much more... love the multiple archive to new folder unpacking.

Everything you need for work with any archives. Obviosly it can't packing-in .rar (unlike unpacking), but who need it when there is 7z exists.
