Mint is like a middle ground for Windows users trying Linux. It gives a familiar look but also lets you tap into Linux perks. Even though it's a bit different, Linux lets you have more say in how things work. Moving from Windows to Linux, especially with Mint, can make your computer experience better and more personal, but there's a bit of learning involved.
It gave a very nice introduction to Linux Mint, so I will give it a 5. My only complaint is that although I no longer need it, it's not possible to uninstall it without breaking the system since it's a dependency of mint-meta-cinnamon, mint-meta-xfce, and mint-meta-mate.
Same for me, should be uninstallable. Disactivation is not deletion! Looks like some Google behaviour for unnecessary waste.
This should be uninstallable, without being connected to mint-meta-cinnamon and mint-meta-core!
missing/dead link for German tutorial, and the "ideas" link has to go finally !
Good for beginners but why does it have to be essential for mint-meta-core and mint-meta-xfce?
Muy bueno para los usuarios recién iniciados en el mundo Linux, sin embargo para los usuarios ya experimentados es una herramienta poco útil, yo personalmente quito el paquete luego de instalar Linux Mint ;)
