This application allows me to edit my music files' metadata, as advertised. The online documentation is humorous walks one through most issues. Why only 4/5? It hasn't been updated since 2012. Version 2.01 seems stable on Mate 21.3. Hopefully, the authors can hand the app off to a new generation of Linux users.
Really easy to use and install on LMv21.2. Packed with other features which I doubt I'll use.
I love this app, nothing else comes close but I can't find it in the 20.1 repo, how can i get this working on 20.1?
Linux Mint 19.3: No implemented function to change id3v2.4 into id3v2.3 (only indirectly). But on the other hand it works good.
This is the only Linux tagger for me that is as easy to use (in fact better) than TagScan. It handles album art, easily changes up and down into directories, can add custom fields. It all works and is all easy. You have to reopen it if you change a directory in a file browser, but because it also opens with a right click from a cinnamon folder, that becomes a non issue.
На виндозе использовал "mp3tag Editor". И после недолгих поисков, нашёл вот эту альтернативу (ну или копию). Лучшей программы для пакетного редактирования тагов не знаю. Разработчикам большое спасибо!
Fantastic tool. If you're coming from Windows and wanted to bring mp3tag with you, look no further. Puddletag is based on that very application and it works great!!!
Finally something so easy and usefull like legendary Mp3tag. Thank you and keep up the good job!
I don't like my music video files to be missing tags or tagged wrong so this was just awesome to find! Had it before, had to have it again on my newest machine.
Excellent piece of SW. Easy transition from MediaMonkey (from Windows). Like the spreadsheet view, abillity to edit tags and rename files at the same time. Don't like inabillity to see album art in "real time" (Windows/Album Art checking does nothing) and Extended Tags function isn't that convenient.
