Was introduced to Linux when I visited my sister in Canada when Win 95 and the blue screen of death was a thing. Have done a lot of distro hopping over the year but keep coming back to Linux Mint.I classify myself as an enthusiast rather than a geek. I have a lot of time for new users because everyone starts sometime. I am a member of the Palmerston North Plug. Attending meetings is a challenge as it involves 130 km trip from Taihape over a challenging road, called Vinger Hill. ( because a settler lost his load over the side). Currently using Mint Xfce and FeronOS (spin) because of low powered machines.
