pan "Perfectly useable, but not as stable as Thunderbird Mail. It unexpectedly shut down or froze on me a few times for no discernable reason. It took me a while to wrap my head around using Thunderbird as a newsreader, but was worth the effort as I now think it's the best newsreader I've ever used. I recommend Thunderbird over this one." |

com.github.unrud.VideoDownloader "Works, but about as bare bones as it gets. Selecting the quality and the download folder are the only options. You don't get to choose the file format and there is no batch downloading; the program only does one file at a time. There's nothing to recommend this over the Firefox add-on Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express." |

com.github.philip_scott.notes-up "Bloated. Took a ridiculously long time to download and install, and operation made my computer slow to a crawl. I don't understand why such a simple program should consume so many system resources. It's not much more sophisticated than Gnote, which comes installed by default with Linux Mint, but Gnote is small and fast. Exporting a note to pdf failed to format a Markdown list. I'm sticking to CherryTree, thanks." |
