higan "Interface is so convoluted, in 2020 it is not acceptable: you have to "import" rom files to have them showed in the program library. Performance wise, it is so much worse than other emulators. Other multisystem emulators are much better, try Mednafen or Retroarch, instead." |

io.github.sharkwouter.Minigalaxy "You "only" have a library of compatible games to play on your Linux system - no addictional contents, no services. It is not like the Windows counterpart, but for some people, this is a plus. It uses Wine; for games that works through DOSBOX (almost any GOG game), since it is available on Linux, this looks like a lazy workaround. To launch a game, you have to launch the platform before, and it is quite slow and heavy. But after all, you can play classics like Baldur's Gate or Diablo on your Linux system, this is exciting." |

com.gitlab.coringao.cavestory-nx "Cave Story is one of the best game of all time, and surely one of the best you can play on Linux systems outside gaming platforms like Steam or GOG. Besides, this version runs particularly well on my old computer with MINT and has got all needed settings; it works well with my generic controller too. " |

org.libretro.RetroArch "This is so much better than the other version available on the software manager. In the other version, you cannot even download the cores through the program itself." |

mednaffe "This software saved my life. I was not able to play systems like pcengine on my linux distro first attempt, because of performance issues or setup problems. With this software everything worked fine! Top software for me." |
