There's no grid put on by default either, and again, I couldn't figure out how to make it do that. other than those two big things its okay. You can change how many pixels wide the pencil tool is, something mtpaint can't do." |

| mtpaint "I started off with a pixel art website (pixilart.com i believe) then moved to graphics gale before I started using linux. This program is not intuative with this background. There is no way to just move the contents of a selection, and alpha is not its own color. Also, as a consequence of alpha being an assigned color, copying a selection also copies the alpha color and overwrites whatever you paste over. I've heard there's some pretty cool stuff you can do in this program, and I'll believe it. It's just too complicated for me, and the devs don't seem to be working towards simplifying anything about this program. If you learn this program, those skills will not be applicable to other programs." |
