I'm a long time GNU/Linux user and advocate. The journey started with Redhat Linux with a very happy encounter with FreeBSD along the way. Finally selecting on Debian based distributions for my machines. Proudly, I can report that my mother and brother both use and prefer Linux as there operating system of choice.

Professionally as a Software Configuration Manager, Linux and Open Source tools are never far away. And why not? It is the sensible solution to a vast variety of technical problems!
