i like to advocate civil liberty: privacy, prefer to code python,c, x86 and learning 64 assembly for linux(really helps grok tho I am new), man-pages, been using irc since I was 12, I bet i'd still get hooked on a ROM MuD. Im currently working on getting Steel Storm AMMO smoothed out for Linux. It is simple to port as its Dark Places but wish to add a launcher and improve fps, add single player AI as short term goals. I think it will be a lot of fun once more people play as it is a multiplayer experience. I am always interested in hearing from new people.
I like games, electronics, anime, drum n bass, electro and esoteric software tricks.
"i was able to look at of the first things i ever coded for CHaoS an ansi art group. It looked like a animated gif and it was 3 or 5 of them and a .MOD track playing using that module that was everywhere for turbo pascal that gave you the choices of Soundblaster Adlib Gravis etc. The lead coder told me 1 file only no zips etc so I appended .mod with copy and simply extracted it at runtime. It was the first solution i discovered without being taught or copying another idea. I was 13 and I still think it was krad. Maybe we can get this in the old folks home in 20 years. "
"League of Legends is running but I need to tweak my settings for it to be better than 5fps. I have read that most can get LoL to run ok. The PlayonLinux site also has scripts you can download if you only need that. "
