| opera "I decided to review Opera because it did something really great. I installed LinuxMint(Lisa) on an old computer with a Celeron processor. Many YouTube videos failed to work using Chromium and Firefox. Firefox said it needed certain plugins, and offered buttons to give the go-ahead to install them. But even after giving that go ahead, it failed. I installed Opera, and it played the unplayable YT vids in Chromium & FF. Well done Opera folks. I've watched you doing some serious hard work over in Norway. Never used Opera much, but I'm reminded that I really ought to support you. Takk!" |

| scribus "Excellent. Or at least excellent for the simple job I had to do, which was to create a 100+ page book with each page being a jpeg image of a discrete scanned page. Also excellent in that it's not resource hungry (like I expected any page layout program to be). Now I'm all enthusiastic to create a richly illustrated book with Scribus. Scribus, you rock. Well, the good guys who made it what it is rock." |

Sorry, but this was MY experience, but remember it ONLY applies to the many Konica Minolta scanner/printer/fax machines I tried at work, where they only have KonicaMinolta machines." |
