Kicked Windows off my computer 3 years ago and never looked back. Linux and GIMP (and Inkscape, Krita and Blender) is everything I need. GIMP's user interface is easy to use and interpret. Many file export options at hand. New users, the screenshot above is old - the current version is minimal and sleek. I learn GIMP by watching or reading tutorials. Using purely Linux for the last 3 years and to have a program like Blender available to me is just amazing - I'm truly grateful. I mainly use the video editing sector of Blender and it does everything I need. It's intuitive and it's easy to remember a new skill once I've learnt it from the web. My knowledge of Inkscape is self taught and it's easy to learn - just search Inkscape skills on the web. The above screenshot image is old - the latest version is sleek and intuitive.
