I came to Mint via Ubuntu. I like Ubuntu fine but I just don't care for Unity, I prefer Gnome. I'm not a computer guy,
I'm a Civil engineer, I build roads. I don't code. I don't command line, I'm a gui guy. I inherited my daughter's laptop when we
bought her a MacBookPro. It was running Vista which I hate with the heat of a thousand suns so I started experimenting with
Linux distros and here I am. I like Mint and I think I'll keep it for a while.
