A bit older version than flarpak release, but definitely more reliable and stable!!!

I prefer Discord, but I have some contacts that still use Skype, and it's nice to have it on linux to be able to keep touch with them.

Skype is really good, but I think Discord, which is also on Linux is really great. It's amazing how much you can do with it.

Was good until Discord appear. Now Skype looks slow compare to others.

Lacks some of the eyecandy of the Windows version but support still there and a multiplatform application. Good on Microsoft for continuing to support OSs other than Windows.

MS are looking to the future. Skype 4 cognitive 2 year olds - can't call, cant save numbers but can chat til the milk lady comes back. MS are telling you all something.

Works fine, but as 1 July 2017, Skype will not accept versions 4.3 (current version at this time) or earlier.

Using this only for screensharing, but Ghetto Skype is better for chatting and calling.

There are some bugs but it does work to call others but some newer implementations of skype does not work.
