| optgeo "Very useful for sketching out optical design concepts. The interface is a bit wonky though. There is a menu that sits on top of all windows, which is annoying. Also it is mostly in French. It's easy enough to figure out though. Despite the annoyances, I use it a lot to confirm how a simple optical system will behave without doing a paraxial ray trace by hand." |
