com.github.neithern.g4music "Does what the package says. It plays music that should be gapless gaplessly, but does precious little else. Other music apps also play gaplessly, but with heaps more functionality. Uninstalled after ten minutes." |

font-manager "I NEEEEEED a graphical user interface for all my many fonts. Font-Manager is absolutely perfect. I can view and install right from the gui with no fuss. The Characters tab is especially helpful, so I can see if a needed glyph is part of a font. Awesomeness." |

variety "It's a good wallpaper changer. I only use my own images, saved to the Favorites file under .config/variety, and while it uses all my images, it doesn't use them in order. I'll see image 1, then image 2, then image 1 again, and I don't see image 7 for an hour. This would be five stars if the rotation of my images was consistent, and if changing the fonts on the built-in clock Desklet actually worked." |

nomacs "SUPERB image viewer with native support for .gif and .webp, which I very desperately need. Nice interface with customizable color. Able to open multiple instances at the same time. I deleted the default image viewer because nomacs does it all." |

io.gitlab.librewolf-community "The flexibility of Firefox plus the customization of Firefox minus the creepy prying telemetry of Firefox. (If I wanted telemetry, I'd still be on Windows!) Librewolf is my new default browser. I love that UBlock Origin is installed with the browser, because that's always the first extension I add to any browser." |

libreoffice "I've been using LibreOffice forever, and it's simply the best. I can't compare it to recent Microsoft Office products, because the last Office product I used was Word '95. Base badly needs an update, because the interface looks like it's leftover from Word '95, but other than that, it's perfect. Writer is the most used app on my entire computer, and it works flawlessly every time, even with large, image-heavy documents." |

org.kde.kolourpaint "This is exactly what I was looking for, having just migrated to Linux Mint from Windows. I used MS Paint for all my screencaps, and KolourPaint does everything MS Paint did. This app is so perfect it got pinned to my panel for quick access. 5 stars!" |

org.strawberrymusicplayer.strawberry "I was looking for gapless playback for my Pink Floyd albums, and Strawberry does it perfectly! Love the customizable interface so much - I tweaked the color to my preference, resized the icons, and added my own image to the playback window with ease. I just wish Strawberry could play more types of files, and that you could edit the album art without adding a song to your collection. I drag and drop from my hyper-organized music files, so I don't use the collection aspect of this app. " |

vlc "Long time Windows user who just migrated to the awesome Linux Mint...very familiar with VLC because I used it on Windows for a decade, so I was happy to see this familiar face in the repository. Just two things I'd like to see on VLC: gapless playback (which every other music app I've tried has), and the ability to change the interface color. Yes, there are skins for VLC, but they're so outdated. Other than that, this is a superb app that plays everything I've thrown at it, including odd sound files like .au and .mo3. VLC lets me capture streaming video, too, which is amazing." |
