f-spot "automatically organizes your photos into folders by date. You can tag you photos to keep like ones together, say "vacation to Ireland". But they will still be filed by date. It does have an upload feature to put your photo to Flickr or Picasa web which is nice, but then why not just use Picasa. I didn't like how it automatically started to organize my photos into files by date. I then had to go back and tag them, by event to get them grouped together to make it easier to view. But maybe just a learning curve on how to use it, since I am used to organizing photos my way. Will keep using it more to see if I like it and follow up the review" |

tomboy "This probably the most used program I have. I am always jotting something down to remember in a note pad. This works much better and you can create note books for like items and link notes to other notes. One of the best products (besides the GUI) to come from GNOME." |

worldofgoodemo "Very fun and addicting! Awseome graphics. Nice to see what can be done on Linux." |

gworldclock "Allows you to view a list of time zones you choose so you can customize it to your needs slightly, which is helpful for me. Can be viewed in 24 or 12 hr format with date. Simple program that works as asdvertised." |
