konversation "I think Konversation is easily the best IRC client on Linux and possibly all of Computing. The Context-Aware Tab Completion is incredibly useful and should probably be stolen by all other IRC clients." |

mintupload "I hate it because it is enabled to autostart and in KDE it is not accessible in System Settings or in the autostart folders to make it stop loading. Base files are in usr/lib/linuxmint/mintupload but changing these didn't seem to do much and removing /usr/bin files didn't do anything either. >>> UPDATE: It seems that it will stop loading if you remove all folders/services inside the app's settings menu. Mint Team, maybe you should reconsider this when 90% people hate this. >>> UPDATE #2: here is a tutorial to disable it in Mint KDE http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?p=1038811#p1038811" |

uget "Awesome App! Does exactly what is needed and integrates nicely with browsers so it is very easy to use. BUT Linux Mint has an old version of uGet in this Software Manager, it has 1.8.2 but the current version is 1.10.3 so go to http://ugetdm.com for the latest version." |
