"Doesn't work. Linux Mint 18.1-3"
1
minetest
"Don't waste your time on Minecraft. Get this instead - Minecraft isn't much better, but with the Mods you can make Minetest FAR better than Minecraft. Be prepared to wrestle your children away from the Computer."
5
dosbox
"Best DOS Emulator hands down. One of my favorite Linux Wares."
5
furiusisomount
"Best mounting software I've seen yet. Should come with the distros."
5
openarena
"One of my children's top 3 favorite Linux games."
5
calibre
"Best Ebook Reader on the repository. Period."
5
vlc
"By far the best multimedia player out there, including all the expensive ones you actually pay for. It's the only one I ever use."
5
openmw
"Lost... so... much... spare... time... to this. Best Linux Port EVER. NOT kidding."
5
freedink
"Love it. If you don't have a sense of humor don't play. The best thing about Dink is the humor, not the game play - which isn't bad either. The ability to mod it is just icing on the cake."
5
billard-gl
"Best open-source Pool game I've seen. It's come a long way since it's initial development."
4
funguloids
"Suprisingly good. Don't start this game unles s you've got time to spare. Even people who don't normally find video games appealing can be addicted to this."
5
transmission-qt
"Works exactly like it's supposed to, easy to use, plenty of options, honestly I've never tried any of the others because this works so well I've never had to."
5
fceux
"The best NES ROM Emulator I've ever seen - and I've been using them for around 2 decades."
5
frogatto
"Would give it 5 Stars if you could set it to Full Screen. Honestly, were it not for that, this would be one of the highest quality video games on the repository."
4
xfce4-terminal
"Interesting, to say the least. I like it."
4
xiphos
"Have Downloaded several times of the years, and have never been even able to get it to start, via GUI or Terminal. Linux Mint Cinnamon 17.x through 18.3. Tried it on quite a few different machines."
1
frozen-bubble
"Doesn't allow for Full Screen Video Mode."
2
conky-all
"Won't shut down properly, can't even kill it from the terminal - the image stays frozen on the desktop. Fix that and I'll give it at least 4 stars."
1
supertux
"I'm not into to side-scroll games, so I'd be biased. My children do like those types of games, and despite an in-home library of over 30,000 estimated games across quite a few platforms, this is one of their most-played games."
5
xplayer
"Doesn't work properly out-of-the-box. Needs to updates in order to run right off the bat, or at least it says it does. When installing Linux Mint on a computer, one of the first things I do is remove this. VLC Media Player has been a much more viable alterative for some time now."
1
opera
"Extremely old version. We are using 50.0.2762.67 & believe it to be one of the best Browsers to use in conjunction with Linux Mint."
4
firefox
"Once upon a time and for many years was our favorite browser. Due to it's recent entry into the Political Arena with it's MITI program, announcing that it will soon began censorship of information that Mozilla feels is Political Incorrect, we nor our constituents use it any longer. Stay out of Politics and just focus on developing technology, please."
1
snake4
"Classic snake game controlled by with the arrows. Works better than "nibbles"."
4
epiphany
"Another game that doesn't allow you to set the size of the window, thereby making it harder to play on modern screen settings"
3
simutrans
"Like other users have said; text & graphics are too small on modern monitors"
3
fretsonfire
"Would give 5 Stars if it weren't for the sporadic game-crashing bugs - happens on all of our desktops and laptops"
